Abound Apps LLC ("Abound Apps," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information our apps — TruckerHorn, MaskTask, and Exploit Hack (collectively, the "Apps") — collect, how it's used, and the choices you have. By downloading or using any of the Apps, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

None of the Apps require you to create an account or provide personal contact information to use their core features. We collect only what's described below.

  • Information you provide directly: If you contact us for support (for example, through the form on this site or by email), we receive whatever you include — typically your name, email address, and message.
  • Diagnostic data: Like most iOS apps, ours may generate crash reports and basic performance diagnostics (e.g., OS version, device model) through Apple's own App Store Connect and Xcode diagnostics tools. We use this only to find and fix bugs — it is not tied to your identity.
  • Content you create in the Apps: MaskTask's reminders, notes, locations, and links; TruckerHorn's custom truck photos, recorded horn sounds, and settings; and any in-game state in Exploit Hack. Where this content is stored, and whether it ever leaves your device, is described app-by-app in Section 3.
  • We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking pixels in any of the Apps.

2. Device Permissions We Request — and Why

Each App only requests the specific device permissions it needs to function, and only when a feature that needs it is used. You can review or revoke any of these at any time in your device's Settings app.

  • MaskTask — Face ID: used solely to unlock and reveal the real content behind a masked reminder. Your biometric data is processed entirely by iOS; MaskTask never receives, stores, or transmits it.
  • MaskTask — Notifications: used to deliver the reminders you schedule. Notification content is generated and delivered locally by your device.
  • TruckerHorn — Motion: used to detect the cord-pull gesture that triggers the horn, processed entirely on-device in real time and never recorded or transmitted.
  • TruckerHorn — Camera: used only if you choose to take a photo for a custom truck.
  • TruckerHorn — Microphone: used only if you choose to record a custom horn sound, or if you turn on the optional Sound Triggers setting, which listens locally for a whistle, clap, or "shhh" to fire the horn. Audio is processed on-device and is never uploaded or shared.

3. How Your Data Is Stored

We do not operate our own servers to store your personal content. Instead:

  • MaskTask: Reminder content is encrypted on your device before it is ever written to disk. If you turn on multi-device sync, that same encrypted data is synced between your own devices through your personal iCloud account — a service operated by Apple, not Abound Apps LLC. We do not hold the encryption key and cannot read your reminders.
  • TruckerHorn: All settings, truck photos, and horn recordings are stored locally on your device. TruckerHorn does not perform any networking and does not sync data anywhere.
  • Exploit Hack: If a match connects you with other players over a network, we process only the temporary session data needed to run that match (such as a randomly generated in-game identifier). We do not require registration or maintain persistent player profiles on our own servers.

4. Third-Party Services

The Apps rely on services operated by Apple to function — including the App Store, iCloud (for MaskTask sync), push notifications, and, if applicable, in-app purchases through StoreKit. These services are governed by Apple's own Privacy Policy, not this one. We do not integrate any third-party advertising, analytics, or data-broker SDKs into any of the Apps.

5. In-App Purchases

If any App offers a one-time purchase or subscription, it is billed and processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We never receive or store your payment card details. Subscription price, length, and renewal terms (if any) are always shown to you by Apple before you confirm a purchase, and any subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your device's Settings under your Apple ID.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We only share data as described above — with Apple, to the extent its own platform services require it — or if legally required to do so (for example, in response to a valid legal request).

7. Data Retention & Your Right to Deletion

Most of your data lives only on your own device (and, for MaskTask, your own iCloud account) — deleting the App or disabling sync removes it. For anything we hold on our side (such as a support email), you may request deletion at any time by emailing Support@AboundApps.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." We will honor deletion, access, and correction requests within 7 business days, consistent with applicable privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). None of the Apps currently require account registration; if that changes, we will provide an in-app way to delete your account and associated data.

8. Children's Privacy

The Apps are not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at Support@AboundApps.com and we will promptly delete it.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the data our Apps handle — most notably, MaskTask encrypts your reminder content on-device before it is stored or synced, so that even we cannot read it. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Users

The Apps are distributed globally through the App Store. If you use them outside the United States, your data (to the limited extent described above) may be processed by Apple's infrastructure in a different country than your own, subject to Apple's own safeguards.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Apps or legal requirements. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Apps after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
